Meet Dr. Ford
Dr. Ford completed an integrated undergraduate and medical school pathway (MMEDIC program) at Boston University. Dr. Ford graduated from Boston University Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in History. Dr. Ford then graduated from Boston University School of Medicine as a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. During his medical school training, Dr. Ford conducted a one-year randomized controlled trial, investigating the efficacy of the vacuum-assisted closure device in promoting wound healing. Dr. Ford's research was published in Annals of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Ford completed a rigorous, integrated six-year residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the prestigious Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Ford then joined Southcoast Hospital Group in Dartmouth, Massachusetts as an attending plastic and reconstructive surgeon, specializing in breast reconstruction and body contouring. Dr. Ford has been featured in Southcoast's Standard Times in recognition of his dedication and skill.
